Penelope K. Wade (English Instructor/Producer) completed a five-summer Master's degree from Bread Loaf School of English where she seized many opportunities. Notably, she shared a public poetry reading with Pulitzer-prize winning poet, and New Yorker poetry editor Paul Muldoon, had her self-penned one-act play professionally table-read, associated herself with the improvisational comedy troupe Stand-Up Ireland in Dublin, Ireland, and 'revolutionized textual analysis' in a bricolage/collage art piece 180-page guide to James Joyce's Ulysses. She has presented to the International James Joyce Foundation at their North American conference in Toronto, and spoke and exhibited artwork at the International James Joyce Symposium in Antwerp, Belgium. An enthusiast of many subjects, she very much looks forward to meeting you, sharing in your interest, and bringing them to the stage.
Candace Burkle (A.R.T Founder and Producer) produced and costumed all A.R.T. productions and directed the touring Children's Shows. She taught for thirty-six years, and still learned something new each day. Sadly, we lost Candace in 2011 but her spirit and vision continue to guide the program.
